Something wrong with me??

I've been on BC for almost 6 months now. I'm only in my second row of pills this month and I've started cramping a little and have had very diluted dark discharge and one small clot of what looks like old blood. It hasn't been a full month since my last period and I usually bleed right before or during the placebo pills in my pack. Why could this be happening? Is it normal?
