Not with him specifically, but guys in general. My boyfriend bought me a drink from my fav coffee shop last week, and today bought me a Kirby game, COD, and colored pencils. I got worried and said “why you being so nice? What did you do (in a joking voice).”

Just past experiences make it hard to actually accept a random gift...
