what's wrong with being a stay at home mom??!!

So i never got a degree in college but I'm a certified CNA, Phlebotomist and EMT. I worked in the medical field for 4 years before I became a SAHM. Now everytime i talk to other women (single, married, with kids, don't have kids) who work or went to 2+ years of college their soooo judgmental!!!!!! They act like their better than me, treat me like I'm a joke and its soooo irritating. "oh you stay at home all day.." or "why don't you go back to school". Cause I don't want to!!!!! not because I'm lazy or stupid but because I enjoy focusing only on my kids!!! I like having a clean house, cooking family meals and spending time teaching and playing with my kids. What's wrong with loving being a SAHM???!!!! When I'm older i can get a part time job or something but right now I'm happy, so why try to tear me down? My husband is in the Army and has been in long enough that i no longer have to work like i used to. We have everything we need, a new car and money in savings. So why work, be extra stressed and miss out on my kids lives if i don't have to or want to!!

Both sides get the guilt trips. I’ve heard I’m not a good mom because I work full time. How can I let strangers raise my kids? Etc etc. anyone that judges you for your families decisions just don’t associate with them. Do what works for your family.

Most military wives are Sahm. Im a sahm, currently living in germany, All my friends are a sahm. I love my daughter, and i love spending time with her and watching her grow... but staying home is not my thing. Im going to start working, not because i have to but because i want to.

I work as a government contractor for the Army as an electronics technician. It's a great job, and I make great money, I have a degree that I worked my butt off for, but I would give that all up in a heart beat if I could be a stay at home mom. We still haven't gotten pregnant and even if we do, I'm the main bread winner, so to speak, so it just isn't a possibility for me, but I would do it in a heart beat!! I'm sorry other people make feel like it's not a worthy job. Don't let them get to you momma! Enjoy getting to be with your babies every day. They're only little for so long, there's plenty of time for working later, if thats what you choose. I think stay at home moms deserve a lot more credit!! ❤❤

hugs... i know its hard that motherhood is an underrated purpose in life... when we do so much to keep our household moving... hugs love.. sahms are looked at as freeloading and defenseless... i do have a degree in education and this is what my husband and i both decided thst i would be here for our son..

In my eyes, being a stay at home mom can be one of the hardest jobs out there. Some people dont realize but if you really think about it, there's multiple responsibilities that need to be fulfilled.  I've always wanted to be a stay at home momma. I've always been up for challenges. Ever since I was like 11 I always got asked what I wanted to be. All I wanted was babies. babies. babies. I've always been like obsessed with cleaning. I love doing the laundry and folding clothes. I know, I'm abnormal. Haha but I really look up to stay at home moms. Kids or no kids. If your constantly doing something, I consider it a chore or job. That category. Hopefully I'll have the chance to be one soon🤞

People will always struggle with how people live or think differently than they do. Think vaccines, circumcision, breastfeeding, materialism, eating organic, being vegetarian, being vegan, being straight or gay, being religious or not, and on and on. 
Do what’s right for your family. When you feel confident in it, other peoples opinions won’t touch you anymore.

Maybe join some mom groups on Facebook and find some other moms near you who stay home? I’m a SAHM and I’ve been staying home since halfway through my 1st tri (horrible morning sickness so I had to quit my job) with my daughter who’s now 3. 
I can’t imagine life any other way honestly, staying home with her is so fulfilling for me (although it’s not for everyone.) 
Just ignore the haters... life’s too short to care what other people think 😊 They’re not raising your kids, you are... 
I take pride in being a SAHM. It’s not easy by any means and it can be lonely and isolating at times but I get to see my daughter grow and learn all day everyday.
Some moms who work wish badly they could stay at home but they can’t... in which I feel very blessed that I’m able to stay home because that’s what I want. There’s nothing wrong with working and there’s nothing wrong with staying home. Either way were caring for and providing for our children 💪🏼 All moms working or not are BADASSES!!
