I’m wishing and praying!!

Soooo... my partner and I have been TTC for three months now, my period is 8 days late - the longest time it’s been late - and I’ve been getting a lot of symptoms as well. I started to spot a few days before my period was due but still no period and it doesn’t seem like it’s coming anytime soon. I tested yesterday but it turned out negative (major disappointment!). I’m now scared to test again in a couple days if no period and get another negative. What do you guys think?!!
