Birth Control, good or bad?
Hello! This is my first time ever posting, but I think this is something that needs to be talked about! My name is Taylor and I’m 19 years old. I started birth control when I was 16 because that’s when me and my current fiancé decided we wanted to become sexually active. I also wanted to get on it to help how heavy my period was, and cramps. I noticed that the first month I started the pill, I got BV and a bad yeast infection. Then, my body finally got used to it. I took it for a few years, and I just really got tired of taking a pill everyday, my cramps didn’t seem like they were getting any better, my periods weren’t regulated, and it was just a bad experience. I got off the pill and things honestly got better. All my problems while on the pill went away. Then, I heard that the pill is actually bad for you, can increase your chances of infections and cancer. So I would like to know everyone’s opinion! Please let me know in the comments how you feel about BC and your experience with it!
