Told my husband I was ovulating

So I made a post yesterday about whether or not to tell him when the test is positive. He knows I've been testing but I've never told him when it was positive, I would just initiate BDing.

Well.. I told him this time & he didn't like it! He said it made him feel like I just wanted to BD just because I was ovulating & not because I really wanted him. Whoa! I explained that I thought he would be excited to know and that I DO want him.

It opened up a line of communication that wasnt there before. We were able to discuss our fears of being first time parents. We are definitely ready financially & we aren't getting any younger! Doesn't mean its not scary!

Well... we did BD & he was telling me not to move off the bed after haha. I think it was a conversation that needed to happen. Hopefully this is our month! If not, I am going back to just initiating and not telling him 😂😂
