How early can I start telling people?

Question

I think I’m pregnant (two faint line pregnancy tests today). Will retest in couple of days.
If I am, my husband wants to start telling people. I’m hesitant and would like to wait until 3 month scan incase of miscarriage/abnormalities. 
Would like advice please. Thanks in advance.

With our first, we immediately told everyone, then miscarried. The second time, we waited til 12/13 weeks and he's now almost year old. I think it's literally up to you both!! Go for it, I don't regret telling everyone immediately!!!

For our first one we told right away and lost it! For our second pregnancy we waited until 10 weeks to tell parents and 16 to tell our friends! Its upto you and the support system ! Congratulations and enjoy every bit of it! 🤗🤗🤗

There is no right or wrong. I tell immediately. We had announced to family and close friends in person or directly, and everyone else via Facebook by 5 weeks last time. I was already puking all day and falling asleep everytime I sat down. That’s too hard to hide or excuse. 
And if I ever did have a loss I wouldn’t want it to be a secret I had to deal with alone. So that’s not been a factor.

It’s personal. Not pregnant and never have been but I have a chromosome disorder that causes recurrent miscarriages. My dad had it and it caused my mom to have 6 miscarriages, 4 of which were 10 weeks+ two were late in the pregnancies. so my point is I’ll be waiting until at least 12 weeks to tell people. Well tell our parents and siblings but no one else. I don’t want to have to explain to lots of people that I had a miscarriage especially when I have a higher chance of having one.

I waited until 3 months with both my girls because I’d had two miscarriages before my oldest.
