Operation Harry Potter nursery: Commencing now!!

So far, I’ve gotten the dresser almost completed and the quilt all laid out and ready to prep the squares!

The fabric for the baby’s quilt came in today!! I can’t wait to get started making the Harry Potter nursery! 😍😍😍 Tomorrow I’ll place the order for the curtains and the lamp! We just cut down the bamboo to make our broomstick curtain rods. They’re drying out now! SO PUMPED! ✨⚡️📚🧙🏻‍♂️

This is the mobile I made... which plays the Harry Potter theme song:

The lamp will be something like this, except it will be hanging from a free standing bird cage stand:

The dresser will be like this, but the fabrics used to make the faux luggage drawer faces will be different (I found some on clearance at Hobby Lobby):

The curtains will look like this, but be on a broomstick.... like the last pic:

In one corner, I’ll have winged keys hanging... like this:

I have the wings already made (out of an old Harry Potter book I found at Goodwill), just waiting for my keys to come in! ❤️

And so... I have my work cut out for me because it’s ALLLL DIY, but it will be fun and make these last 5 months go by faster! ❤️🧙🏻‍♂️✨⚡️
