So before I say anything else I would like to say first and foremost I will do whatever is best for my baby regardless, it’s no longer just about me anymore so please no negative comments! I joined the Army Reserve 2 years ago, for those of you who do not know you go through all the basic training with the active members than your own personal training. I finished all my training and now I drill monthly. That’s one weekend out of every month we train. I recently got pregnant, not planned but very thankful. I am 9 weeks and I have the option to end my term with the army now with a discharge that has no negative impact at all. It just says I finished all my training and am no longer part of the Army respectfully. The reason they provide this option is for single parents who are the sole provider and need to devote the time and care to the baby. I have no family around and the father is not in the picture for safety reasons. I don’t want anyone to make me fell guilty about this decision but I want what is best for my little one. What do you think?
