First doctors appointment tomorrow! What to expect?

Ello loves! Tomorrow I have my first doctors appointment since I've found out that I'm pregnant from my 8 FRER tests (serial tester, I know lol). So, I know I'll be giving a urine sample so the doctor can confirm that I am pregnant. What else happens during that initial appointment? Will I find out how far along I actually am? Will I get a sneak peek of my little grain of sand?

They usually just confirm the pregnancy and talk to you about prenatal vitamins and such. then send you off for blood work, they come up with a due date but it can’t be confirmed until your 1st ultrasound and that usually happens around week 12.

it's usually a consult mostly. they will take your urine and blood possibly. lots of reading materials, then they will give you another apt closer the to 12 week mark if they don't do an ultrasound this time. best of luck with everything. I would recommend reading all the paper they give you all the information helped me understand alot more which made me feel better.

At my first appointment I had a dating ultrasound to see how far along I was. The ultrasound was transvaginal. This is my second pregnancy, so we didn’t discuss as much as we did with my first, but we scheduled my second appointment. My doctor prescribed prenatal vitamins as soon as I called to make a pregnancy appointment.
