You ovulate 12-48 hours after a positive OPK. You can ovulate without fertile cm, but it does make it a little harder for the sperm to get where they need to go (fertile cm has channels that guide the sperm). When I first went off BC, I wasn’t having hardly any fertile cm, and now, 4 months later, I have several days of fertile cm (watery but not ewcm). Good luck!
