Which form of contraception would you recommend?

I’ve been told to either use the pill or get the implant. I’m leaning more towards an implant but would like to hear your personal experiences as well as different opinions 🙆🏻‍♀️

The pill sucks, personally but it’s amazing for others.
If it’s your first time using BC, I’d recommend the pill because if there are complications, you can just stop taking it whereas you’d need other methods removed,
Ultimately though, you need to talk to your doctor.

I'm on the Nexplanon (implant) and I honestly really like it. There was probably like 2-3 weeks where I had my period the whole time but now I don't have one at all.  But everyone's body is different

I've been on 9 different pills.. I was on 8 different ones and then had an IUD for a year and half -- loved it, but my body does this thing where it rejects it after a year and a half. I had to get it out because my period was so out of whack. I'm on a different pill now (started 6 weeks ago) and it's going okay. Had my period for nearly 2 weeks, but I'm still in the adjustment period. It's different for everyone, but I'm considering the implant when I'm home again and no longer under my parents insurance (costs me $0 for my pills now, but when I'm home in August, it'll probably be ~$75 for one month) and my school insurance will only cover one month at a time (which doesn't work since I'm abroad for 4 months at a time). 
I'd say to start with the pill, but theres nothing wrong with going with the IUD or implant so you don't have to think about taking it every day.
