Baby girl dropped an insane amount last night!

I will be 35 weeks tomorrow. I had my checkup yesterday I'm 1.5 cm dilated and cervix is still thick. I've lost my mucus plug twice now, with no blood. Braxton hicks contractions have picked up and these last 2 pics were taken 2 days apart. This will be our 2nd baby and I've read online that when the 2nd drops labor is right around the corner. has anyone found this to be true?! I'm hoping to hold out for 37 weeks... But our first came on his own at 37 weeks 1 day.
