Heck no. Women caught up in sex work shouldn’t be subject to harsh punishment but legitimizing the sex industry and those who “consume” is a bad idea. Look at the Netherlands— they are far from ending sex trafficking. The market demands bodies and getting foreign women in is something that will be done. Bad idea. I don’t believe it will help women or society. And yeah, you can believe women in sex work have inherent worth and value while believing what they’re doing is undesirable.
