Trying to conceive

hey all I had a period which ended about a week ago but lasted for 16 days now 4 days a go I started bleeding that linked all over my legs all the way down to my ankle and there was some massive cloth in it that bleeding lasted for like 5 mins and there was no more bleeding or blood till today I got up this morning and all my bedding is socked in blood and got up to got to the bathroom and it just licked all over my legs again with cloth in it after cleaning my self I put on some pad and after 5 to six hours there is no blood in it so again this bleeding only lasted for a few minutes am little bit concern I called NHS for advice but still waiting for a doctor to call me back .... whiles am waiting can any of you advice me what this bleeding may be cos am confused about..
