Cute story for any animal lovers!

Me and my husband took a walk last night and an orange cat began following us. He was super dirty, breathing kind of funny, and looked hungry so we took him home. We have three cats so we had to keep him in the garage. We set him up with food, water, kitty litter, and a bed I made out of blankets. This morning we began talking about what we would do with him and decided to bring him to a cat rescue shelter but I called every shelter in the area and every single one were unable to take him due to them being too full. I was heart broken because he was such a friendly cat but we are simply unable to take in a 4th cat. My last idea was to walk around neighborhoods near our house (our house is secluded) and see if maybe he had just been lost for a while. The FIRST house I knocked on which was 5 miles from our house turned out to be his owners! They showed us a picture to confirm and it was him. We seriously couldn't believe it. Turned out they had lost him a month ago and gave up hope. We drove them back to our house and they reunited with their cat. They were so happy and grateful. Such a great way to start the day! 😊❤🐈🐈🐈
