I keep seeing people mention these “leaps”. What exactly is it? I’ve never heard the term before.

nightmare. i have a spirited baby but this is just impossible to deal with. I'm going insane. she's never enjoyed being changed. but now I can't even change her diaper. she has a tantrum that lasts like 30 minutes. I used to be able to divert attention but it doesn't work anymore. up at 5 am. won't go to sleep. (she's always been an early riser but she used to go to bed very easily. even that has changed). everything is a battle. she doesn't seem to be happy anymore. just annoyed. 😢

A whole slew of emotions. Crabby, loving, clingy, couldn't touch anything they are even looking at. Literally my best days where when we would stay "away" from them lol. Thankfully we are past it but they still get grumpy out of no where.

My son is done with the leap as of today. I noticed he was really clingy, had tantrums, but also became more independent when it comes to climbing and exploring. To me, he really grew up in this leap.
