Would you travel at 36 weeks and 2 days?

My husband wants to travel to Michigan which would require a connecting flight and we’d be traveling with my 19 month old son.

My doctor told me no traveling after 32 weeks so I would check with your doc first and a airline will not let you get on a plane when you’re that far along,

I'm not allowed to leave the immediate area after 34 weeks. That feels like way to far along to be flying but that's just me. My husband was supposed to fly to Cali and back to take his daughter home at 36 weeks and I put my foot down and said someone else will have to go. Anything can happen, better safe than sorry.

I just traveled 1hr flight at 32wks and wanted to cry lol the flight was bumpy and i was extremely nauseous, i was so uncomfortable and had no room to move, it felt way more than just an hr. I wouldn’t unless i s an emergency!

I don’t even know if airlines will let you fly past 36 weeks. I personally won’t even drive anywhere an hour from home that far along. This is my seventh baby and my last two came at 37+6 and 37+1. My labors are very fast also. If I was an hour from home, I literally might not make it to the hospital in time

My daughter was born at 36 weeks and 2 days, so I would be incredibly careful about traveling at that point lol

Check with your insurance company also. If you end up going into labor, They may not pay for the delivery if you travel after a certain point. My insurance won’t allow anything after 36 weeks

Thanks. They told me airlines won’t let you travel beyond 34 weeks but Southwest says 38 weeks. I’m waiting for their feedback. I told my husband I am not going off of an airline’s recommendation.
