Anyone stopped Metformin during pregnancy?

Just had a doctor’s appointment today (10w, 4d). My doctor prescribed my Metformin last year to help with my PCOS as I was trying to get pregnant. She just told me today I can go ahead and stop taking it now. I was a little surprised...I assumed I’d just stay on it. Has anyone stopped taking Metformin mid-pregnancy?

I used metformin among other things to help get pregnant with my second. It’s 100% normal! Go ahead and stop taking it. You can revisit starting again after babe!

I’m curious if this as well. It’s made me soooo sick. Which it did before falling pregnant but after trying for almost 2 years, the same cycle I started metformin I got pregnant with my (hopefully) sticky bean so I’m positive it helped me conceive. I’m kinda scared to stop it but I can’t hardly take it or I’m on the toilet after everything I eat or drink the next day. 🤢

I actually stopped taking it right before I got pregnant. I lost my health insurance and had not taken it in over a month. I was in shock that I fell pregnant then because I thought metformin was supposed to help fertility. I guess it just wasn't meant to happen until now.
