Kidney infection and pregnant

Has anyone had a kidney infection while pregnant? If you were hospitalized for it, how did it turn out? Was baby born early, low birth weight, or anything else happen? If you have a positive outcome i wpuldlike to hear too.

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and really bad backaches all week. Hospital and Ob thinks I have a UTI and said if antibiotics don't help in 24 hours then I need to go back to the hospital to get IV antibiotics. Could be possible kidney infection. I'm super nervous.
