Too old for me?

I’ve recently started seeing a man who is 21 years older than me. I’m 19 and will be twenty in July, and he is 41. He treats me so well and I’m very happy to be with him. My friends seem to think he is too old for me and will not allow him to come over our place. Are they right? Or should I just follow my heart?

Be with who makes you HAPPY. Sure you're at an age that you could be his daughter but you are HAPPY and he's treating you good. It can work out or it may not but take the chance! You're young life is all about making mistakes and taking chances. Cherish your time with him. Who knows you could end up marrying him. Keep your mind open while with him but don't take the rude things said about your relationship to heart.

no offense, but you could be his daughter basically. Why in the world would an almost senior citizen want a hardly adult....I wouldn't trust him or engage in it personally. And honestly, what does your future hold? He could possibly be in depends while your hitting your considered high point in life on top of physical changes and health issues, for ex future kids - he may not even be able to concieve. From an outstanding view, I don't think it's a good idea personally and it's a bit bizarre and unsettling.

It depends on the person not the age, of course it seems a little odd but if you have to question it, are you really that sure about him? Take things slow if youre gonna try, better safe than sorry
