ADVICE PLEASE 😩😩😩

I just don’t know what to do anymore 😩 I was dating this guy and he was the sweetest thing ever. Guys like him come in my life not so often. But I told him we should just be friends because I just feel like I’m not good enough for him. Even my own mother tells me that. I want to be with him but then I feel like he deserves someone better. I made this mistake when I was in high school and I don’t want to do it again. He never really asked why either.. I told him we should just be friends and he said “if that’s what you want then I can respect it.” I’m not sure what to do. And I’m sorry if this story seems all over the place 🤦🏽‍♀️
