Anyone else spot before their period?

I have started spotting before my period since hubs and I started ttc... Is this normal? It used to be a day or so of light spotting, but after ttc it is now three days of medium spotting. My mom is a nurse and I'd usually ask her, but she doesn't know we are ttc and I'm not necessarily concerned enough to call the doctor just yet. It just seems weird/ annoying! The first two months it happened I was convinced it was implantation bleeding and was devastated when it continued and turned into AF. Anyone else experience this?!
