Obgyn or midwife? Which do you prefer and why?

I can’t decide which route to take. This is my first ever pregnancy 🤰🏻

I love my midwife. I have the same one with my second as my first.
I had a water birth in hospital with my first, no drugs. this time I'm doing the same, just at home. they can also give epidurals and what not if you choose.
I trust my midwives knowledge, and thoughts when Im on the fence about something. I never feel like anything is forced on me.
when I have birth, The lights were extremely dim, and everyone was talking in hushed tones. there were no bright lights or noises in the room, and very few distractions.

I loved my ob and her nurse, both were super caring, I never felt rushed during appts, responded to calls and messages quick

Dude my obgyn is my favorite person on the planet (weird to say I get it) I can only request to have her as my doctor when I’m pregnant but even after she was like “I work here at this time come grab coffee and let’s talk about life” find you a doctor like that!

I chose an obgyn because thats what my insurance covered.  
If for whatever reason I had to pay out of pocket for my care and delivery I would have chose a midwife with a home birth.

Midwives are the best! Super supportive of mommy, more focused on her than the ob is in my opinion.

I had a few problems early on and needed surgery, so I trust my obstetrician and am glad to have him. I wouldn’t want to just be seeing a midwife who doesn’t have the same medical training, but my situation might be slightly different from the usual due to my medical issues and the fact that I’m having twins.
