Pregnant after birth?

Hi mommas, I’m 3 weeks PP and I know I shouldn’t have sex this soon but at 2 weeks PP my man and I started having sex again and we haven’t been using protection..please no bashing I know I wasn’t supposed to. But what are the chances i am pregnant? I’m breastfeeding and i have heard it can delay ovulation. When’s the soonest I can find out I’m pregnant? Is there still HCG in my body? Thanks.

Yes absolutely you can be pregnant. However that’s not even the first thing I’d be worried about, it’s the infection you could have seeing as your cervix isn’t closed yet.
If you had sex two weeks ago you can tart testing now, however go to the doctors and explain everything so they can check for infection. Even the cleanest of people having sex 2 week pp are at a ridiculous risk of infection purely because of that open cervix.
I’m not bashing, I had sex before 6pp but I didn’t know the risks. Now that I do il be waiting this time. 
I will be so glad to give birth and not be pregnant the LAST thing I’d wanna think about 2 weeks pp is potentially being pregnant all over again 😩

the reason they say not to is because where the placenta was its an open wound so fot one your very open to infection cervix could also be open or shut....but also if you are fertile which after birth your highly fertile anyway but if you was to conceive and egg implant where wound is well wouldnt be great....your best to use a condom. i did same after 2 weeks your ready when ya ready but be careful. use a condom. but also keep cl9se eye on how you are. ie if you was to get an infection you would be crampy and flu like symptoms too. your main worry now will be infection or pregnancy both are possible so tell them at 6 week check....

Yes you can get pregnant, anytime you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant 🤷🏽‍♀️ and if you do there is a possibility of a complication bc you didn’t allow your body time to heal. Also this early after having a baby your hcg levels from he previous pregnancy hasn’t went down yet so the only way to know for sure since you probably haven’t had your first period after having baby yet is to have your doctor check you! I had sex unprotected since 4 weeks pp. I don't breastfeed. got period at 11 weeks pp... just finished my last period a day ago.... I'm 22 weeks pp now.  if you don't plan on another baby use protection... And we are supposed to wait til 6 weeks pp Dr check to have sex  to make sure we are healed  from were the placenta attached to.. as we are risking infections... ( I have no right to preach since I obvs didn't listen either😂)

I would say test about 3 weeks after the last time you had unprotected sex. You will get your answer.

Likely, first few weeks post partum you are highly fertile. Just get some condoms for now unless you want another so soon of course x
