Hashimoto's ? Gestational diabetes?

I just found out I have both and they are having me take a baby aspirin everyday because of sporadic high blood pressure. I never had any problems or complications with my first. Does anyone have any insight into these?

I was diagnosed with GD at 7 weeks. I went to an educational course on it and I’ve been tracking my blood sugar 4 times a day. I just went to my first one on one dieticians appointment. She said I’m doing good so far. It was very alarming when I first found out since no one in my family has ever had any form of diabetes and I really wasn’t familiar with gestational as this is my first. I’m doing ok with coping as I didn’t know what to expect at first.

I take half a aspirin at night because I have deep vain thrombosis. And I having my glucose test done on the 25th. I had gestational diabetes with  my last pregnancy but lost him before I was given anything to monitor GD.

I have hashis and was likely not diagnosed my first pregnancy (I found out I had hashis and ulcerative colitis postpartum) second pregnancy now and am on meds for my hashis that are being controlled by an endocrinologist. Make sure you’re seeing an endocrinologist to manage your hashimotos while pregnant, super important

Hashis is autoimmune, it’s not something you did and you’ve probably had it for some time and just have been symptom free. Prepare for having blood taken tons... my levels are ALWAYS off, especially in pregnancy. They check me every 4 weeks my whole pregnancy and more often than not my meds change. 
They DO NOT recommend taking armor during pregnancy as it doesn’t cross the placenta so stick with the levothyroxin. Good news is it’s cheap, small, and no big deal to take. 
I’ve never had any side effects from it in pregnancy or conceiving.
