❌This is not a judgement from me. I just want to share my point of view, to compare my country with yours. Also, I’m not a believer, Protestant or Christian. I’m atheist. ❌

I feel like 80% of the people that use this app is American. I read A LOT of storytime, girls who are posting their feelings or idk. I had the opportunity to compare the society standards of my country, France, and yours.

Here is my analysis :

1. Idk if it’s just me or if it’s really like that, but it’s seems like you have sooooo much pressure from boys, in high school. I just read a post about a girl who feel depressed because she never kiss anybody, or dated anybody, or some shit like that. She said that her friends are laughing at her because of that, that when guys know that she is inexperimented they are running away, because she don’t want to send nudes. Like, bro wtf, what is this kind of guys ?! And this kind of friends ?!

2. Because of this pressure, a lot of girl are dating very very early, and have sex very early too. With what I read, it’s seems like 3/4 of the senior girl in high school are in a relationship and already have sex. In my school in France, their is just an handful of girl who have already have sex, but it’s not the majority. They are way mor virgins that experimented people. For example, in my group of friends, just 2 of them had sex yet. All of us are 17 or 18. And we don’t give a shit. More than the 3/4 of the seniors students are still virgin.

3. And I feel like virgins are blamed and ashamed for that. The few girls who still resist feel bad, and depressed because of their purity.

What do you guys thinks ? I am right ? Could you explain your point of view ? I want a opinion from the inside. Also, you can speak about your country too if you’re not American. That would be very interesting !
