Did your Mother have morning sickness? Did you?

I'm 4w3d and so far no symptoms, the only reason I tested was because we were trying to have a baby. When I told my mom she said she didn't have morning sickness with my brother or I and only had gotten sick a couple times with my (half) sister. I'm just wondering if there's any connection. I know everyone and every pregnancy is different. This is mostly for fun 🙂 Thanks!

My mom never got sick with me, but when I was pregnant with my first I was sick all day long from 6-11 weeks. This is my second child and I’ve not been sick at all (now 13 weeks) so who knows! Maybe it’s a mix of genetics/the baby/how you deal with the hormones?

My mom was hospitalized for dehydration from morning sickness with her first two babies. I only threw up once at 16 weeks!

Neither my mother or i(her youngest of three girls) had morning sickness. My two older sisters however had morning sickness up until they delivered their kids. 🤷🏼‍♀️ just cause one person doesn’t have it doesn’t mean you won’t get it and vice versa. My mom gained 40 lbs with each pregnancy, ive gained about 25 lbs andI’m at 38 weeks and even then I’m barley showing. My two older sisters gained 50 lbs easily and were massive. No pregnancy is the same
