It’s June 12th and my dad is still attempting to get me to switch colleges. I accepted my acceptance to James Madison University for Nursing. I got accepted into six schools including Liberty University, the largest private Christian school in the nation that also has a great nursing school. My problem is that at Jmu I have a semester off (spring sophomore year) before beginning nursing school my junior year because of my college credits through a dual enrollment program. At Liberty I start nursing school sophomore year without a break. Either way it’s four years and there’s only a $2000 difference a year between the schools so it’s really not about the money. I love Jmu and it’s the perfect fit for me and what I want. My dad loves liberty for not only their Christian outlook and consistent classes which I understand. I don’t want to disappoint him but I know he isn’t supportive of wasting a semester. Please help. Any ideas are appreciated ❤️
