IBS symptoms?

Does anyone suffer from IBS that could help me out? For the past 8 days, my stools have been the consistency of diarrhea without needing to go as often as if I had diarrhea. It’s triggering some anxiety in me as my 5 yr old daughter and I are due to go out of state over the weekend for 4days without my husband and I’m nervous something will happen (bathroom accident or even a panic attack). I’ve lost 5lbs since Saturday and no, I haven’t changed any of my eating habits other than now not really being hungry at all. I have a Dr appt tomorrow morning to see what’s going on but I guess my question is: does this sound like IBS? I’ve never had this happen in my life. Thanks!
