My mom already has talked to her and has asked me to do it too because she feels like my sister will be more open to me about it because I’m her big sister.

How do I bring it up? What all should I cover? Here’s what I’ve come up with

How your body works in general which she’s already been told but I’m gonna tell her again.

Sex and it’s consequences if you don’t use protection like sexually transmitted diseases and infections.

How those things are treated IF possible

pregnancy risks

Condoms-how they work and how to use them and how to know when they’re on properly.

Birth control- the different types and how they work

+ what to do if you have sex and a condom breaks

Also, nude photos and sending nude photos and all the possible the consequences of that.

She is 16. I started having sex at 15 and my mom doesn’t think she’s having sex but wants her to know everything and she said the sex talk was horrible awkward and my sister just shuts down. My mom wants her to hear and really listen and she thinks she’ll listen to me so idk.

Did I miss anything? I also want to talk to her about safety at parties. I honestly don’t think she’s ever been to one, hell I think I went to one as a senior and left. And my mom has her busy on a farm all day and she also has a job.

But i wanted to explain like, don’t ever sit your drink down at a party because people can drug you. Dont ever go alone to a party. I want her to know that she can call me at any point in time to come get her and beat someone’s ass if I have to. Anything I should add onto this part? I was date raped at 14 so it’s important that she knows this part too. I wasn’t even at a party when I was date raped.

The school she goes to does not teach sex Ed

This is a really important conversation especially since there’s no sex education in her school. I see all the time on here girls just not knowing the things you need to know.
