Stopping the pill?

I started the pill the fist of this month, for thefirst time. Since then I’ve been bleeding consistently. I’ve got a few events coming next week and I’m wondering if it’ll ever stop. My period started on the 31st and it goes on... I’ve never had a period like this. Does stopping mid pack, will have me bleeding again for weeks or what? I dont know what to do. I just want the bleeding to stop.
