Creative Ideas?

Question

I am 5 weeks today and have my appointment next week with my doctor.  I have a family wedding this weekend and all my siblings and dad will actually all be together.  My sister's (I have 4 older) have been talking about it for awhile and are very excited to stay together and party.  Being the youngest, I've always been known as "the partier" so, if I come up with a lame excuse I'll be called out on being pregnant.  my husband and I agreed we don't want to tell anyone until after the appointment.....any ideas on what we could do?!

you could always make fake drinks and have your husband bring you fake drinks

I’ve been drinking “vodka sodas” since we found out. As my friends get tipsy, I’ve found I pick up on their energy anyway and still have an awesome time, so they have no idea I’m just drinking soda water with a lime :)

My husband and I went to a wedding while trying to keep a secret. we would order the same drink, he would drink his and then we would switch to make it look like I was drinking mine to. I'd pretend to take sips.

you could say you’re on antibiotics or some medication for something simple that you can’t drink with

thank you for all the feedback!  my husband and I tried the fake drinking last Saturday so hopefully we can be a little more smooth Haha!  My sister's and I are very close so there is no way I'd get away with a new medication without them knowing.  We shall see what Saturday brings!

like others said have hubby get all your drinks & just get no alcohol. if you're set on telling them I'd just say it, I'm old school. no need for some big reveal imo

You can say you have a stomach ulcer and can’t drink. That’s been my excuse and so far it’s worked!
