TTC time frame

How long did it take you guys to get pregnant? We are not desperately trying to get pregnant, but are trying at the moment. So far it has been a little over 3 months for us. And while I do not worry that it hasn't happened yet and don't mind if it delays for a couple of months, my husband is starting to get frustrated as he really wants to have a kid (he is 5years older than me and he feels more than ready to have one). I just would like to hear how long it took you and what you guys could recommend?
