What's the difference??

Ok so lately I've been seeing people saying a missed miscarriage. What's the difference between that and a miscarriage. I never heard of a missed miscarriage. 
I had a miscarriage in April but now I'm confused maybe I had a missed miscarriage??

A missed miscarriage is when your body hasn’t quite caught on that the baby died. So it’s usually first found on a scan rather than because of bleeding.

This is my own interpretation but a missed miscarriage is one that you were not aware of happening. IE) you were 8 days late and then you miscarried and period started. You might find it on a blood test that you had low HCG levels. I’m not certain though.

A miscarriage is when your body loses the baby. A missed miscarriage is when the baby stops growing and has no heartbeat, but there’s no bleeding or anything yet.
