toddler in delivery room
I don't have anyone but my mom to watch my son. He is super clingy to me and isn't left often. the hospital said he could stay as long as I wanted in the room with me as long as I wasn't the one watching him, but I'm not sure if it would traumatize him to be there during active labor. My husband being deployed, there is no one else I have. Am I crazy for thinking he would be fine staying in the room with me so he doesn't feel abandoned. His Daddy just deployed and he gets separation anxiety when he's not with me and freaks out. Has anyone had their toddler in the room when they gave birth? Am I crazy?
