Who has had an abortion?

My period is a week late and I think I might be pregnant. I really don't want a kid and I'm so pissed off at myself for getting in this situation because I never thought I'd get pregnant in the first place.

If anyone here has ever had an abortion by using the medication can you please tell me what it's like??

Had surgical this year, they gave me a twilight sedation, I fell asleep & don't remember a thing.  Woke up in recovery, light cramps & bleeding for a few days.  I was super nervous before getting it done & it's absolutely not something I would have ever done.  I am happy with my decision & the actual process wasn't as bad as I expected.  It's never easy, but it's your choice.  I hope this helps.

I had a medical abortion when I was 20 and I am not trying to scare you but I was in so MUCH pain when the pills started to work in..but when it was over the pain was over. And to be honest with you if I had to choose the pill method again even though I was in so much pain, I would. The surgical route just seemed too invasive and I was able to do the pill method in the comfort of my own home. But it's different for everyone though okay so please keep that in mind. I seriously thought I was pregnant a while back. Thankfully I wasn't, but I can tell you that based on the research I did, the earlier the pregnancy is, the less it costs to abort. I mean it's still like $500-$600 depending on where you are, but it's a lot better than $800+ in the later months.

I also know that there really isn't an insurance company that will cover it unless it's life threatening.

The pills just causes a type of miscarriage and is a little different for everyone. You may also have a heavy bleed, but for the best answer don't be afraid to ask your doctor.

I had my abortion December 23 2014. It was the most painful thing I have every had to do. I was 15 weeks and 5 days so they had to put me to sleep to do it.

I had an abortion using the pill method when I was 15 years old. One pill by mouth at the doctor's office, and four pills vaginally a few hours apart. It was very painful, extremely painful actually, but I do not regret it. Hope this helped a little.

Does anybody have natural ways of termination? I've heard of Black kohosh root, but I've never heard of anybody doing it/being successful. It's cheaper for sure, but of course not FDA regulated.

Had one last year. First ever time. It was heavy bleeding and lots of painkillerrrrsss.... But the pain wasn't that bad. Based on income you may get it for free in certain US states/cities. The earlier the better.
