So I know I’m like 15 and it’s hormones causing my horrible skin. But surely there has to be something to calm it down a little.

What I do is put 2 tablespoons of baking powder/soda in a cup and a tablespoon and a half of water, wait for it to fizz up a bit then put it straight on your skin. Leave for like 2-5 minuets, until it gets really itchy then rinse it off with cold water and moisturise. It tightens up your pores so it’s really good if you’ve got bags under your eyes. Your acne should clear up a bit in the next few days. If you have sensitive skin I don’t recommend it. Hope this helps xx

If you wear any face makeup stop immediately. I understand wanting to cover it, but it can make things worse. Aloe Vera is a good solution to immediately reduce redness, and since it’s antimicrobial, antibacterial, and antifungal it may help clear some of it up. There’s some good suggestions here, but you’re just going to have to keep testing things until you find what works for you. I tried a bunch of big products like benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, etc. but none of it worked well for me. For all you know one of those things could be life changing for you. Personally, I stopped wearing face makeup, started using virgin coconut oil, aloe, and various other natural remedies & mine cleared up within 2 months or so completely. Now that I’m older I only get regular breakouts occasionally that can just go away with witch hazel or plain rubbing alcohol as spot treatments. Lastly, if you have any scars lemons are great for that, and evening skin tone.

birth control pill helps hormonal acne sometimes.. my acne is bad also and they put me on the pill :)

I was on isotretinoin for 6 months. It's a draining process but it cleared all of my acne up, and I haven't had one pimple since. Try going to a dermatologist and asking about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

If it’s really bothering you, go see a nearby dermatologist. They can really help you! Certain creams and maybe a few pills can clear you right up depending on your skin type!😊
If you can’t see one, honey works really well as a face wash and maybe make your own sugar scrub out of real sugar, you can find a recipe online. Coconut oil as a moisturizer can help too. I would also try to find a good toner that works for you. Experiment.

Yes to charcoal bar at Target. It’s like 4$ or an at home remedy is a face mask of honey and cinnamon. Mix it together and paint it on your face. Leave it for like 10 mins

I like to use rose water spray that has aloe in it. The two put together calm down my irritated skin so well!

Idk if you’d be willing to try this but lower the amount of dairy you eat if you eat a lot- it really helps my skin personally. Also if you have dry skin like me use the burts bees cleansing wipes if they are in your area and try birth control pills if you haven’t already :)
