Please can someone with partners or those that have had treatment for varicocele give me any advice.

Me and my husband have been trying to conceieve for over 18 months now and have been undergoing fertility assessments.

All was okay for myself. However my husband had ultrasounds and has been diagnosed with varicocele and was given treatment options.

Sperm assessments have been carried out and although we had good results the mobility of some were questionable.

So we decided to go with the Varicocele Embolism treatment as it was less invasive and still has a pretty high success rate.

He has had the surgery and now is in recovery week 1 of 2 but is having a weird numb sensation where he believes the coils were placed and is more prominent when sitting up and when driving. Has anyone else's partners had the same. Is this the norm. If so how long did it last.

I would prefer for him to be seen but he is slightly reluctant unless it's absolutely necessary.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated x
