When did start kick counts?

I had my 28 week appointment today and my dr mentioned nothing about starting to count kicks. I’ve always heard to start at 28 weeks?

28w. I honestly don’t do them though she moves so much.

They say 28 weeks but she moves so much throughout the day I just keep track. As long as she’s moving.

My doctor said only do it if I feel like she hasn’t moved in awhile. She’s always moving so I dont really do it but she mentioned this to me at 28 weeks. She also said 10/hr is the old standard and 6 every 2 hrs is the number to look for if I am ever concerned.

My dr never told me, i go back Wednesday and I’ll be 29.5 weeks. But he kicks and moves so much, so as long as he’s moving i don’t worry.
