Is It Normal ?!

Need your opinion about something.
My mother in law and my husband had a talk about a conflict there is in the family and that includes me and my mother in law said some things to my husband (that my husband repeated to me) and told my husband that this is strictly between a mother and a son and should not be repeated to me (his wife).
Do you find that normal?

I think if youre involved, then she shouldn't ask him to keep anything from you. When you married, you became a team. She has to accept that

Your husband seems like he is trying to do the right thing by you by telling you how she feels. It's not weird for them to have private conversations. He is probably trying to do his best to resolve the only way he knows how. Take into consideration her side and explain to him peacefully your feelings on the matter. Remember mother in  laws can be difficult but sometimes they can feel that we as women are taking their loves away. It's hard for parents to let go knowing that they will still be their child's first love no matter what the age.

They are still allowed to have their own conversations. If they are talking ill about you then that's another story but otherwise it's fine. My husband doesn't repeat every conversation he and his mom have to me.
