MIL thinks sono pic is off?

Question

I am 21/22 weeks and had a sonogram yesterday. I saw my doctor right after and he said everything is normal. 
However, my MIL says this doesn't look right and something is wrong. She thinks the doctor just doesn't want me to worry. Usually I just blow this off, but I'm in no hormonal state to deal with this rationally!
So... Please take a look. Is there something off? He's a roly little thing and this was the best side profile the sono tech could get.

The doctor is not going to keep important information about your unborn child from you to stop you from worrying. If something was wrong they would have told you. What exactly does she think is wrong? I'd be so annoyed.

Well when did your MIL graduate medical school. I hate things like this my rude cousin said my baby head was "too big!" I just cussed her out! Your doctor wouldn't keep anything important away from you if something was wrong! Out of respect I would just ignore her because I know I would snap because my hormones are everywhere too, but she's just rude! Why would she say something like that. Your baby looks fine, if your doctor says he/she is fine then he/she is fine!!

Does your MIL have a medical degree? If there was something wrong your dr would have told you! There doesn't look to be anything wrong to me...baby is clearly just curled up.

Agreed. Why would the doctor just not tell you something looks off? They always want you to go for more testing if something looks off. I wouldn't worry about it. She's not a doctor obviously!

I think your mother in law needs to watch her mouth! You have a perfectly healthy baby who the doctor is clearly happy about and you don't need someone giving you unnecessary stress and worry. What on earth does she think is wrong! She needs to keep her mouth closed. Your baby looks perfectly fine.

I agree, the doctor wouldn't without important information. I think the ultrasound picture is cute. Your baby is curled up 👶. I carried my daughter in the frank breech position, she was butt down with her feet over her head. I found that after she was born she didn't like to be swaddled. She had to be free to curl up in a v position lol.

Is your MIL a sonographer or a doctor? Has she gone to school for this? If not, then I wouldnt worry about it. Your dr is a DOCTOR for a reason and legally, ethically they have to tell you if they see anything concerning or they could face a lawsuit. Your baby looks fine. (Looks exactly like my last scan, plus my nurse friend is over) Your MIL may need a brain scan, to figure out why she thinks shes such an expert, though..

The ultrasound technician isn't obligated to tell you anything, but since the doctor him/herself didn't tell you that there's anything to be concerned about, then I wouldn't worry! I don't know why she is trying to make you worry :( baby looks fine!
