Clomid

I am 34 and this is my first time trying to conceive. I have irregular cycles so it's always hard to tell whats up with my body. I was prescribed provera by my doctor so my cycle would come on, which did on 5/22-28. I started taking clomid on the third day and became fertile from 6/1-8. I never got a solid face only smiley flashing ones. According to fertility app my cycle was suppose to start today. I took a digital pregnancy test today and it came out negative. Should I wait a few more days or its just negative.
