Cleaning up after the cat?

Abby

Hubby and I have a cat that's about a year and a half old, and we've had her since she was a kitten. She is pretty much exclusively indoor, except for the rare occasion I take her outside on a leash. We have an automatic litterbox, and hubby has taken over litterbox duty- he has been so good about emptying the waste recepticle and keeping the box clean. The last couple of days, Ana been pretty gassy and acting a little weird, so I was wondering if she had an upset tummy. Well, it seems that whatever was in her system passed. Kinda looks she made it just short of the litterbox before she had diarrhea. Hubby wasn't home, so I put on gloves and cleaned it up, then washed my hands really well.

Should I be worried or concerned? I'm 6 months pregnant.

On the bright side, Ana seems to feel much better and is running around, playing. 😺 :)

Thanks in advance!
