Scheduling an OB appointment?

How long after you found out you were pregnant did you schedule your first apt? And what did they do at that appointment

Called right away (I was 4 weeks). My dr has first appts at 8 weeks. They did paperwork, vital signs, height/weight, Pap smear, breast exam, and transvaginal ultrasound

I called when I was like 6 weeks along, and they got me in really fast because I take medication that they wanted to discuss. Ordinarily they wouldn’t have seen me until 8 weeks or so. 
Like the other comments, I had a urine and blood test done and they took my vitals (weight, blood pressure, temp) and medical history. They did a pap smear and breast exam, and I had time to ask lots of questions. We did not do an ultrasound that day; I came back when I was closer to 10 weeks for that.

I called as soon as I got my positive. They didn't schedule it until I hit 8 weeks though. I think that is typical though.

I called the week I found out, they scheduled me for 6 weeks. At that appt they took blood, did an exam, blood pressure, and I got an ultrasound. Got to see the heartbeat! I go back next week when I’ll be 9w2d.

Scheduled my first a few days after telling my husband. I was about 3 and a half weeks. The first one was at 6 weeks. They took my weight, blood pressure, urine sample, tested me for pregnancy and confirmed it, and a nurse spoke to me about what I should expect the next 9 months and went through some paperwork with me. I did 10 weeks.  I had a vaginal exam with pap, doc felt my tummy, and we did a quick ultrasound to look and hear the little one :)

my first OB appointment consisted of BP, weight, and an ultrasound. they didn't do a blood or urine test because they said they were confident I could read a home pregnancy test. the ultrasound was super quick though (I've since heard the doctor I saw is a bit brisk).

I scheduled it the day I found out I was pregnant. (04/30) My doctor sees you at 8 weeks so they asked when the first day of my last period was and scheduled me for 05/21!
