Azo uti relief for sure. Increased water intake. Cranberry juice (NOT cranberry juice cocktail, the real juice). Make sure to urinate frequently. If symptoms persist, call your doctor and get antibiotics

Go to Walmart, target, or any pharmacy and pick up AZO uti relief. I usually the the fast acting one but the regular works fine too. It will get rid of the burning and urgency so you can enjoy your sons party! I usually sit in a hot bath while I'm taking it. I hope this helps!
