Has anyone brought a dockatot or cosleeper to the hospital with them?

There's no way you'd be able to use one in a hospital. No need to bring it.

hospital beds are very small. i know nothing would have fit on the bed and many hospitals have policies that require baby to be placed in bassinette for safety

Hospital beds are seriously so tiny it would be impossible.

For SIDS reasons I don’t think you can use them like you would at home. Baby would need to be in the bassinet beside the bed not in bed with you.

My hospital was strict about safe sleep for baby. You could only let baby sleep in the hospital provided bassinet or if someone AWAKE was holding baby. They would never allow something not approved for safe sleep like the dockatot

I seriously doubt the hospital would allow it.   They don’t like any extras in the bassinet. The baby is just fine in your arms or hubbies or in the bassinet. All I took was the boppy for feeding

I know a few people who have and it fit just perfectly in the hospital’s bassinet. I would check out the size of it though during your hospital tour
