Has anyone’s baby girl had a little “period” after birth??

I’ve looked up things to expect for a ftm and apparently baby girls can have mini periods at birth from the hormones. Has this actually happened to anyone?

My DD never did, but I was warned that it’s possible and completely normal :)

My daughter did. No one told me about it & I never read it anywhere. The pediatrician said it happens from the Mother’s hormones. As well as knots in the breast (milk) & discharge.

Yes! Ours did. I FREAKED OUT seeing blood in her nappy, and it was like this old piece of information lodged somewhere in my brain just came to the fore and I remembered people telling me their little girl had the same thing. She was about a week old and I was a FTM. Never happened again after those few spots!

My daughter had the mini period and breast buds that leaked milk. And no one ever told me about the possibility of either one so I was like 😳🤯
