tacky & distasteful??

a female on my FB timeline said if a guest doesn't bring a gift to her baby shower that specific guest will not be able to eat. 🤔 by the way this is her 3rd child and most people only have a baby showers for their 1st . I'm a FTM still pregnant (and not having a baby shower) and although I'm still new to all this I think it's embarrassing. if someone wants to celebrate the life of your baby...why not let them I don't think a gift matters. in my opinion that's just being desperate for gifts 🤷
