Took my awhile but I didn’t poop till a week after I got home. Had to take stool softener that didn’t help and the first time I pooped (tmi) it was like pooping boulders and I had to use my hand bc it wouldn’t come out. :( I cried the whole time my first poop after the baby

I was so scared! I finally pooped about 3-4 days after. wasn't as bad as I thought and I didn't take anything to help me.

I didn’t poop for a week. Finally I took Phillips and within hours it happened. Wasn’t too bad! I would’ve been more scared after a vaginal.

I was petrified! Constipated for about a week and it was so painful so took stool softeners then I finally went which was really painful and the softeners made me need to go lots so took Imodium and then had to repeat all over again. No one warns you about this lol

I didn’t poop for 10 Days after and I was terrified! Rightfully so because when I finally pooped it was a BEAST and hurt so bad 😩

Yes!!!! With my first I was traumatized by how awful the first poo was. This time I took stool softener twice a day and drank some Miralax every other day. I made the mistake of stopping the stool softener once I cut back on taking ibuprofen. NO!!! That poo was horrendous and I went back to the stool softener until I completely stopped the pain meds.

It’s a little traumatizing I’m not going to lie! I think it took me like 10ish days to poop. I had had abdominal surgery before so I knew it would take some time but no one warned me to take stool softeners and oh my goodness I can only imagine it being akin to vaginal delivery, pair that with hemorrhoids and it was not fun at all...embarrassing to say but what came out of me was so large I had a hard time getting it to flush 🙊

Dude it was awful the worst experience of my life. Up until then, I thought carrying twins and then having a c section were the hardest things I’d ever done (I had two vaginal deliveries prior btw and no issues ever). I didn’t go for a week after the section and two days of pushing what felt like balls of razor blades out my bum was so awful. Yes I took stool softeners, multiple times a day in the hospital and at home. The poop was so big I guess I couldn’t push it out.. I tried suppositories which hardly did anything also. Never anything more painful in my life. Then I had diarrhea for two days after that my butt was already so sore from the giant blade poops and couldn’t heal because then I had steaming diarrhea lmao it was just so awful. All good now though, I’m 4 weeks post c section. I still take the softeners a little because frankly I was traumatized.
